Sidewall, Wallpaper with Stylized Trees

This is a sidewall. It is dated ca. 1920 and we acquired it in 1945. Its medium is block printed on paper. It is a part of the Wallcoverings department.

Strong graphic pattern of trees with foliage or flowers rendered in a minimal style. The use of blue trees printed on the orange ground creates a strong energy which is softened somewhat by the white swirls. A coordinating pattern containing only the swirl motifs was designed to be used along with this pattern.

This object was donated by Nancy McClelland. It is credited Gift of Nancy McClelland.
