Sampler (possibly Morocco)

This is a Sampler. It is dated 18th century and we acquired it in 1947. Its medium is silk and cotton embroidery on plain weave cotton foundation and its technique is cross, stem, double-running, satin, eyelet, back, scotch, and buttonhole embroidery stitches. It is a part of the Textiles department.
