This is a Textile. It is dated early 19th century and we acquired it in 1987. Its medium is cotton warp, horsehair weft and its technique is damask: 4 & 1 satin (1). pattern created by the weft float face of the satin. background of the cartouche created by the warp float face of the satin. It is a part of the Textiles department.

It is credited Gift of David and Larry Marshall.
