A white and pink porcelain sauceboat, with an exterior texture of wavy lines marked with sandy pink, like the surface of a shell. At left, the broad, rounded lip curves out from the half-circle of the body; at right, the handle curves up and over into a tight spiral. The shape of the handle and lip is a reverse S curve. The glaze is clear and glossy.
