Unfinished Handkerchief (England or United States)

This is a Unfinished handkerchief. It is dated early 20th century and we acquired it in 1983. Its technique is loosely woven plain weave printed in light blue. machine woven tape laid on top of the pattern as a foundation for needlework. needle fillings started in two areas. It is a part of the Textiles department.

This object was donated by The Cleveland Museum of Art. It is credited Gift of The Cleveland Museum of Art.
