Textile, Linen Relief

This is a Textile. It was designed by Jack Lenor Larsen and produced by Jack Lenor Larsen Incorporated and manufactured by Hohlenstein Textiles. It is dated 1969 and we acquired it in 2016. Its medium is linen, cotton and its technique is block printed by hand with resin resist and dyed supplementary warp pile (velvet). It is a part of the Textiles department.

This object was donated by American Historical Textile Museum. It is credited American Textile History Museum Collection, gift of Cowtan & Tout.
