Textile

This is a Textile. It was manufactured by ED by Ellen DeGeneres and made by Textile Arts Center and Isa Rodrigues.

This object is not part of the Cooper Hewitt's permanent collection. It was able to spend time at the museum on loan from Ellen DeGeneres and ED by Ellen DeGeneres as part of Ellen DeGeneres Selects.

It is dated ca. 2015. Its medium is 60% merino wool, 25% baby alpaca, 10% hand-loomed cashmere, 5% silk.

This is a one of a kind, hand-woven piece that I worked on with artisans at the Textile Arts Center in Brooklyn. This is one of my favorite pieces and all my guests comment on it.

It is credited Courtesy ED by Ellen DeGeneres.
