Knot Brooch

This is a brooch. It was designed by Sergey Jivetin. It is dated 2007 and we acquired it in 2016. Its medium is annealed and bent steel jeweler's saw blades, steel. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

Serge Jiventin finds wonder in tiny industrially produced objects such as the jeweler’s sawblades that become his building blocks for this intricate brooch.
