Alexandre Brongniart

Alexandre Brongniart was a French geoloist and naturalist who was made director of the Sèvres Porcelain Factory from 1800 until his death in 1847. He contributed to important work regarding the classification of reptiles while simultaneously working to improve the art of enameling in France.
