Daniel Buren

Born in Boulogne-Billancourt, France on 25 March 1938. Education: Ecole Nationale Supérieuire des Metiers d'Art, Paris graduated in 1960. Independent artist. Member of Buren, Mosset, Parmentier (Michael) and Toroni association, 1967. Environmental artist interested in installation of his stripes on public buildings in order to provoke a new perspective for them.
