Koichi Sato
After completing his study at Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music in 1968, Koichi Sato worked in the advertising department of the cosmetics firm Shiseido before opening his own studio. He has sought to express a new Japanese style by implementingemploying a Japanese understanding of nonverbal communication through visual language. Sato's design often employs delicate color motifs and metaphysical forms that lend the works a poetic quality.
