Industrial designer Robert Brunner was Director of Industrial Design at Apple Computer, Inc. from 1989–96, during which time he provided design direction for all Apple products, including the innovative PowerBook laptop and the Newton personal digital assistant. Brunner left Apple to become a partner in the international design consultancy, Pentagram. In 2007, he founded Ammunition, a design firm based in San Francisco.
