Carl Otto Czeschka

Born in Vienna and part of the circle of the Vienna Secession, Czeschka joined the Wiener Werkstätte in 1905. His designs were characterized by floral/vegetal motifs and encompassed jewelry, metalwork, graphics, textiles, theater sets, and costumes. He taught at the Hamburg Kunstgewerbeschule (School of the Applied Arts) starting in 1908, but continued to submit designs and display work with the Wiener Werkstätte until 1915.
