Snarkitecture is a New York-based collaborative practice founded in 2008 by Alex Mustonen and Daniel Arsham who met while studying at Cooper Union. Architect Benjamin Porto joined the firm in 2014. The studio creates architectural-scale projects, installations, and objects, focusing on a reinterpretation of everyday materials and structures, and re-imagines them in unexpected and extraordinary ways. Many of their installations border on the surreal and frequently contain an interactive element.
