Ammar Kalo practices architecture and industrial design at his namesake studio in Sharjah. His work ranges from architecture, interior design to furniture. He primarily designs furniture and invents and embraces new fabrication processes. He received a Master of Science in Architecture Degree with concentrations in Digital Technologies and Material Systems from the Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning at the University of Michigan. Kalo also teaches at the American University of Sharjah, and is the Director of Labs at the College of Architecture Art and Design. He is an active author and researcher in the fields of architecture and design.
